Sunday, September 20, 2009 DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A PICTURE INTENSIVE POST! (right after all the words that is!) FINALLY! i got to cook for my friends! they have been waiting for very long and neither of us could believe i was actually free today to finally cook for them! and i've cooked BAKUTEH! :] well, it's not the best! but it's still pretty good! seeing how it's my first time cooking it! now, i can cook for my family too! muahahah :] In additional, there was homemade oreo cheesecake and home cooked veges! yums! it's been a while since i cooked properly. OH! and the best part about the bakuteh is.. the chopped chillis and dark soya sauce!  Home made oreo cheesecake! anyway, it's these kind of stuff that made me forget and get over people who sucks. i am really thankful to the two darling girls (esp genie!) who accompanied me the entire night for like 8 hours just cos i found out the true colours of a certain person and was in total shock and disappointment. but they accompanied me and enjoy the cool, quiet night in uni. :] In addition, i also must thank mr brightsmile. He made me have a revelation yesterday. he made me feel so much better. more importantly, i know i'm not alone in this issue. yepp! we're all in this together! mr brightsmile, you rock my world! Actually, i would like to say i'm genuinely free but that's not the case. I still have to pack up my room and my notes and my laundry. (the aftermath of midsem exams). In addition, I am flying down to Canberra for a function this weekend. But of course, i will be going down to sydney first to explore a little. and this just means that i have VERY little time to settle the event details for the Canberra trip. In addition, i have to settle internship application(not that i want to be last minute! but they just release application!), audit and stats quizes, assignments hopefully by this week. no matter what, i have to start on them this week. WISH ME LUCK MAN. i'm gonna go camp out in the library this week again. or rather, for the next three days. Should i go home and have a boring life and do an internship or should i drop everything and go to USA and perhaps taiwan this yr end? before i can even ponder on this question, let's just hope i dont die of itchiness first. spring is ending soon. all the summer flies are starting to come out and somehow, they like my blood -___-" anyone who has DAMN effective methods to stop itchiness, pls tell me! :] NOW, it's time for the pictures! let's start from the beginning! -not really, just some time ago.  ah nee sent me this card! :] it's SO beautifully made! and it was at the right time! so now, i have a dog name bulu! - Cooking Trials with the Chicky Club -  dawny and chun!  First dish of the day! - sweet and sour chicken!  itadakimasu!  look at all of us cook!  would you like some? - My 20th Birthday Celebrations!- the day of my birthday, the fact that it was my birthday didn't exactly sink in till afternoon. that is probably cos i had super boring lessons that morning. anyway, my friend specially came over just to spend the afternoon with me! thanks jas! that night, i had two celebrations planned. one dinner and one kbox session. i had dinner with dawny, chun, song and kiat. i was surprise that song came cos he kept telling me that he's unable to finish studying for his exams. anyway, the dinner was planned as this bunch of friends are having mid sem very soon so they have to be studying at night. so dinner was the most they could do. after a fabulous indian dinner, kiat send dawny and me back to my hostel. so, we are just waiting for wp to come fetch us to the kbox place. THEN, he was conveniently late. he mentioned that he hasn't had dinner. so i tot he was late cos he went to buy dinner (even tho beforehand, we already told him we're settling dinner ourselves). so he came late, and he didn't buy any dinner. so nvm, we went to pick up genie and then, he insisted on eating macdonalds. but brisbane is a city that slps early. it's not easy to get mac at 8plus. luckily he settled for some burger shop. dawn and my plans for kbox was to sing till 2am. but wp told us he intends to leave at 11pm. so that made me damn sian about this celebration already. and i nv understand why he said to pick us up at 8pm when he booked the kbox place for 9pm. that place is less than half an hour away only. so nvm, i just tried not to think about all these but i was actually very sian about it already. when we finally reach, i went to the counter first since it's raining outside. when the rest finally caught up, they immd ask the counter person where's room no. 19. my friend mentioned that since we have made a booking, so we already know our room no. and there i was thinking "what a different system!" anyway, as i opened the door, it was then that i realise there were other ppl in the room! but i couldn't really see who they were and i was still thinking that we have gotten the wrong room whennn.. the three guys which i had dinner before held out a cake and started singing! :] and this is my surprise! :] and we ended up singing till 2am :] thanks guys!  kiat, chun, song, me! dawny, genie, wp  me in the car taken thru the seat hole. can u identify which is my hand?  happy 20th birthday to me!  thank you for not getting me a coles cake! <3  me & kiat!  song & me  genie & me  dawny & chun = the best singers of the night!  dawn & me To add on to my 20th celebrations, i finally got ime to go out with rach and nana after my midsems on a sat! it's been awhile since i last went out with them, and i do miss going out with them :]. i finally brought them to this famous fish and chips place! :] and they gave me presents then! that present is DAMN awesome man. it's basically a weekly planner that i can just write down all my stuff in one page. it suits me damn well. and i got mini tags that are unique! on the tags, they have labels like "revise", "reference", "impt", "read", "follow up", "love it", "buy", "visit", etcetc. how cool is that! :] last but not least, i also gotten these bulldog clips that has exclamation mark, love sign and question mark on it! they really know what i need :] Thanks guys! just some randomness.  this is how my friend studies. he "focus" his vision to only the notes and nothing else! hahah :]  i saw this REALLY tiny ladybug on the floor while waiting for my friend. - Brisbane Riverfire - the riverfire is a once a year event where they will set fireworks off along the river for around 30mins! it's really a beautiful sight! last yr i caught it on tv as i had an exam. this yr, i had an exam again, but heck with that! i have not much time left anyway. min invited me over to her uncle's penthouse in the city. it has such a magnificent view of the city and the river! and it's 39 storeys high! aaaah!!!  min and the scared me!  the bartender  the constipated, the smelly and the high.  this is just a snap of the brisbane city from her balcony  an attempt to take a picture with the city as the background.  the fireworks! view from the top :] and then, on to some craziness!  min kissing me, amy being cool while angel enjoys the view.  we are the multi handed crazy wacky bunch.  Cheers!  my birthday cheesecake! :] it is from "the cheesecake shop"! as the gossiping, camwhoring and giggling continued into the night, we were unfortunate to miss the last bus, train and citycat. hence, we embark on a journey to WALK home! even tho it's far and it's 12plus midnight, but at least we have a company of 3!  hello! from the three of us!  whatcha up to! LET US GO!!  are we reaching??  we're high on walking! we managed to finally reach home after 2 plus hours of walking. it was fun but not something i would wish to do again! hahaha :] and since we're so bored while walking, we kept singing and even changed the lyrics to westlife's "my love" "and so i said a little prayer, and hope that we will be home safe. Where our beds are there, to see our teddybear. My room~" |
