Saturday, June 27, 2009 time to blog about my trip to GC! :] FIRST DAY! - SEAWORLD! it's my first time in seaworld! and even tho many people say it's boring, but well, i've travelled all the way to australia, i have to see it for myself. but seaworld is SO FAR! it's the furthest world from my place. so it took me 3 hours to reach there. meaning i left my place at 7am to travel down to GC for seaworld. it might have been better if i had more than 4 hours of slp that i had that night. oh well, here are the pictures!  waiting for the bus to SEAWORLD!~  SUPER HUGE turtles!!  playful dolphins~  waiting for the seal show to begin :]  the fish detectives!  i touched a starfish! they feel.. hard.  i touched a sea cucumber! they feel.. soft!  WHEE! i'm at sesame street beach!  isn't the sunset nice? anyway, my verdict of seaworld is that it's pretty fun. just that if ure looking for thrill rides, u probably want to go to movieworld or dreamworld. but yeah, it's pretty fun at seaworld. they had an awesome ride there. just as u thought the ride was going damn fast, it speeds up in the middle! whoots! but i would have had a better experience if i didn't get that headache towards the closing time. result from lack of sleep. and to make things worse, the bus ride was very bumpy. so ended up, it's a mixture of headache and being sick in ur stomach. reached home around 9am and asleep by 12am. DAY 2! - MOVIEWORLD!!!!!!!!!!!! :]:]:]:]:] my second time at movieworld! the previous time with my sis, two of the main rides were closed. but i finally got to ride them! boy! i CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED OUT ON THEM THE LAST TIME! and to make things even better, i met someone there! guess who!?  on the goldcoast express! me, minli and angel. :] First stop of the day - 4D shrek show! We got donkey mucus all over us!  are our 3D glasses cool? Next stop - SUPERMAN RIDE! - one of it which i missed last time. First thrill ride to start the day and sherman was right in front of us! so we went on the ride tgt! now i know why my friend said this ride was good!  what a small world!~  we're SUPERWOMEN! Third stop - Scooby doo! - the other ride which i dint get to ride the last time. concept of this ride is cool! :]  AAHHHH!!!!  are u scared?  boo! Fourth Stop - WILD WEST FALL!! THE NICEST FLUME RIDE IN GC THAT I'VE BEEN ON! :]  my favourite flume ride!  :]:]:]:]:] so satisfied! we sat on it four times before surrendering to the cold. of which, we sat with sherman's gang once. muahahha :] we made them sit the first and last seats.  hey there cowgirl~ Fifth Stop - the WB kids' world.  BEEP BEEP! roadrunner! quick escape!  what time is the bug coming?!  "it's a lovely weather isn't it?" Sixth Stop - Batman Space! my first time on it! i generally refuse to sit on giant drops, but seeing how this one shoot u up, the feeling should be different. but oh boy, i nv knew it would be that high up! and being aware that my friend is taking a video, i still overcome fear and look down at the camera to make poses. BUT! BUT! BUT!  here we go!!  batman space!!! my friend didn't manage to capture the video of both of us. a pity!! so this shot will do! :] LAST STOP - SUPERMAN. AGAIN! :] we sat on the last second ride of the day! by the time it was my turn, when we went out on the track, the whole sky was nearly dark. quite a nice feeling tho :] GREAT WAY TO END THE DAY  one last goodbye picture before i head back to brissy while sherman remains in GC and continues his holiday.  one last trio pic before we say goodbye to movieworld. BYE MOVIEWORLD. ------------------ BACK IN BRISBANE  a nice Bibimbap to end the day. thanks minli for the treat! On the whole, i had a wonderful trip to GC to RELAX after exams! that's the way to go man! and on friday, after an entire afternoon of resting, friends gather again to had nice cheaper than usual dinner, homemade icecream "super sinful" sundae and card games :] hopefully, the bridge and pizza day on tuesday will succeed! for now, i'll rot at home and watch family outing! it serves the purpose of self quarantine too. :] and while i'm doing self quarantine here, there are two girls somewhere in bangkok screaming their lungs out! RACH! are you ogling at jae? make sure ur eyes don't pop out and u still can close your mouth after the concert! drink more water so that u can continue screaming the next day! and are u mesmerised by the leader's stage presence already? HAVE FUN!! :] tell me more when ure back! |
