Tuesday, June 30, 2009 it's starting to get real cold! time for the more layers! and the funniest thing! it's becomes too cold to speak when we're walking on the streets, we end up just laughing and shivering. ANYWAY. yesterday, when i woke up, i found out that the entire unit's water supply is being cut off. in fact, the entire college's water supply is cut off. only around 4pm, i heard an announcement from the city council announcing that the water supply will be back. so then, i heard the water from the toiletbowl. (can u imagine not being able to use the toilet the entire day?). so the water is back on. but guess what! it's brown in colour! wonderful aint it? as u let the water run, it starts turning transparent. but upon closer look, u'll realise it's white in colour! so when u fill up a cup, u get "milk"! and no matter how long we allowed the water to run, it doesn't seem to do the situation anygood. just as u thought "forget it! i'll just bath in the milky water~" then u realise, there's no hot water. and so happen, it was freakishly cold last night. sighhs. of all things, they hit the water and gas pipe for the heater. funniest thing is, we had to think of what we can cook and eat without using water. bread is a clear winner! and of all days, i ran out of download quota the day before. so, no internet, no water, alone at home. what else can i ask for? well, so all the loners in the different units didn't bath last night hoping that today will be much better. BUT! the water is still as milky. so well, i dint care much anymore. i rather have the illusion that i'm clean from the milky water than the thought of not bathing. and boy! am i glad i went a little crazy last week and bought myself quite a bit of drinks. since the tap water is undrinkable for the time being, i can rely on my fruit juices and what not! i wonder if the washing machine's water is milky too. it'll be gross to be my laundry unclean but yet, it's also gross to wash it in milky water. ah wells, that's for me to think tmr :] i almost forgotten how nice a movie "a beautiful mind" is :] i've checked in!
