Friday, May 22, 2009 TGIF! let's see.. i was suppose to go for a birthday dinner today after finishing uni today. but! as my friend couldn't finish her project, we cant go. well, it's a pity cos i was looking forward to that Vietnamese restaurant. furthermore, i was all made up and my hair all styled and ready to enjoy and relax on a friday night. but work comes first so i do not blame my friend at all. afterall, she's still slogging her guts out in uni. SO, i took a walk alone in the cold night to a suburb nearby. afterall, there's hardly any food left at home. it was surprisingly cold and vapor appeared from my breathe. i went to the supermarket first to get myself a roasted chicken to shred for my salad. and since it's an hour to closing, they had the price reduced by two bucks. so i just grabbed two cos it will very troublesome to keep having to shred chicken everyweek, especially since it takes me hours to shred one chicken. might as well, one shot do for two weeks. anyway, while checking out, the girl scanned wrongly cos since it's price reduced, she had to manually key in. but the supermarkets here has this concept whereby if they scan ur item wrongly (wrong price), they'll give the item to you. well, i nv expected that cos she could have just deleted that entry and scan it again. but since it's their policy, i got a free chicken! yay! :] then next stop! to my fave diner in that suburb and ordered my fave fried rice with chicken. and who knew! the lady gave me an extra piece of chicken! yums! :] well, an extra pieces of chicken and a free roasted chicken and a nice walk under the stars is enough to compensate of not being able to go to the Vietnamese restaurant. well, that's all for now. i'm gonna enjoy my dinner and relax while watching "exploring the human body". :] nights! |
