Friday, November 21, 2008 jobstreet has become the website that i most frequent today. cos my daddy says i have to work during my break. originally i hated the idea. but seeing how broke i am now, i think it's best i work.how little people wants to hire for onli two months. and i'm considering going into the f & b industry. but the pay's distinctly lower. but it offers more flexibility! the flexibility that i need seeing how i am going back to spend time with my friends and family. what to do? on the lighter note. finally, a fine day today. so i decided to just catch a bus that i've nv taken before and see where it takes me! just nice, it went to one of the suburbs that i wanted to go :] and i bought clothes there! cheap clothes! there were on 40% off for these four days. what a good day i chose to go! i have no idea why but i suddenly decided to buy myself a sunglasses. something i should have done months ago when my previous one spoiled. i guess i was waiting to go back to bugis street to get the cheap ones. but anyway, altho the one i bought is almost twice the price of a bugis one even after 25% discount, but it's an authentic polaroid sunglasses with polarised lenses. and it is certified to provide protection under cat 3 of the Australian standards. this means it protects good UV protection and has high sun glare reduction. this is the highest standard that a normal sunglasses can get. and it even has one year warranty. not bad for something that cost me 30 bucks. and thinking about it. the sunglasses in bugis probably falls under cat 0 of Australian standards - fashion spectacles, not sunglasses. provide low uv protection and very low sun glare reduction. anyway, i'm gonna be in aussie for long, so better dun playplay. aarhh.. i miss having sunglasses :] a pity they didn't give me a proper hard casing for it. anyway, she gave me a polaroid brand camera (those that can onli be used once and uses film) probably to compensate that they didn't have anymore of the polaroid casing. :] oh! and i saw scrabble and monopoly chocolates!~ now, on to picture!  yay! i have a picture with michelle :] miss her loads. and after next week, i duno when would be the next time i see her!  HUGE paper clip!  this section is totallly meant for me!  christmas tree! :]  one of the christmas decoration. probably cant see clearly but it features alot of things like ferris wheel, church, etc. each item cost over 200 bucks each.  this is one of the figurines! okay, it's actually moving so i cant call it figurine right? don't they look happy?  another one. there's a live version of the train that runs in the store for kids to sit in. with conductors and all!  chocolate high heel! anyone want to wear it? there's an exhibition of toilet bowls in the city. i think it's some awareness programme about water but i didn't bother asking about it.  which one do u like? i like the redcross one.  more toilet bowls :] and the winner goes to...  rocking toilet bowl. imagine doing ur business while sitting on this.. it would be ermm.. interesting. |
