Saturday, October 04, 2008 IT'S BEEN A VERY LONG WHILE SINCE I'VE BLOGGED!! :] i'm so sorry, but just got lazy :] i hope i can blog finish this post before my download quota finishes! so anyway, SPRING IS HERE! what is spring u may ask. it's a taste of what i will get in summer! the sun is FREAKINGLY intense! way more intense than in sg. just that in sg, it's humid so u'll perspire faster. but here, u just simply feel like melting since there's not much shade anyway. :] but like in the shade, it's really cooling and the temperature difference is quite alot :] now, on to PICTURES!! a few interesting ways to advertise ur stuff here!  on the floor! with coloured chalk! it's good that we have so much upslopes and downslope here. so it makes it easier to read :]  no idea what's it called but it's those aeroplane with the smoke. it's spelling out "the sunday mail." well, it sure caught my attention! next, my birthday! PART 1  i went out with jean, suzen and lore to pancake manors to celebrate my bday! :]  look at all the pancakes! are u hungry now?  my bday present! it's a VERY good present! i FINALLY have a thing to hang my earring!!! WONDERFUL! :]  on the way back to uni with them:] PART 2  went to some mexican restaurant for a team bonding dinner :]  look at the food! it's such a sin to eat so much nice food in a day!  and, they surprised me with a cake!  AIESEC talent management team!  kirty and me on the citycat!! :] PART 3  i came home from my lovely mexican dinner to find this surprise from J6.  my housemate took a picture of those who made the surprise :]  a preview of some bday gifts :]   hahaha :] it's the tiniest balloon! so cute! hahaha :] PART 4  J6 celebrating the sept bday babies! :]  this is a hand-made cheesecake by doris! grine :] dexter gets the wasabi special!   it looks like me right? :]:]  my bday card :] it has not been finished yet tho. and i got a surprise gift from lcw! :] all the way from sg! :]  handmade card man! SO nice right?!  and this very very nice necklace with my name engraved from couple lab! :] LOVE YOU GUYS LCW! NEXT UP! DREAMWORLD!!  exciting!  i meet all the ht requirements for the rides! benefits of being not too tall and not too short. :]  AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!  SHARK ATTACK!!  we're getting GEARED up!! (oops! dint mean to cut lorena out!)  look at that dumb witch!!  water rides!!  one last picture before we disembark!  THIS is a scary ride. it works like the pirate ship. but.. look at next pic..  everyone is seated in that manner, AND the thing turns while it swings from side to side. AND it will swing so HIGH that at certain part, ure just SUSPENDED upside down in midair. it is then that everyone starts wondering "why the hell did we get on this!?"  look! i can surf!  CATDOG! that was my very first email address! now i finally get to meet the characters!  ZEN! ur spongebob ride!  my very first time on a carousel!  lalalala~  my childhood idol! BLUES CLUES!  i surrender!! don't eat me!  a tiger.. pooping in action!  eh? where's my passengers?  arrh.. this is much better :]  this is called the tower of terror. it basically BLASTS u off from the start point, shoot u upwards vertically, then shoots u backwards. it's not as scary as it looks. in fact, this is the least scariest one. but damn fun! MID SEM BREAK!! YUMCHA TIME!  look! their bendy bus has seats at the bendy part!  (i din't take picture of the yumcha cos we were too focus on eating!) we ate for four hours!!  after that, we went for dessert! beancurd and muah chi! the beancurd is 3 plus bucks!!  and i saw how they tow a bus that day. nv knew it was so much work. i always tot it's attached and go!. hahaha :] monday - SHOPPING at DFO!  i'm in desperate need for shorts! SO HOT here! i forgotten that we had uniforms to wear in jc, so it wasn't THAT hot. and i bought my bigbig gym bag :] love it! and finally, a waterbottle :] muahaha :] friday - october babies celebration!  hee :] and doris made taro and green tea ice cream! it was SO nice!! :] woah.. this post took me like two hours to blog! moral of the story: i should blog more often!! grinne :] tmr's the last day of my mid sem break.. must enjoy it to the fullest while trying to catch up on my work.. three more weeks of uni and my sem ends. but then, it's FINALS! aaaaaahhhhh!!! i'm very suay. the exam period is from 1st to 15th. and my paper starts from 1st nov and ends on 14th nov!!! :( bawwlls.. time to sleep! :] |
