Thursday, March 13, 2008 **edited! so sickening! i wanna take leave just to enjoy the day for once and i get nagged for it. why cant i take leave? it's just a part time job and i'm at the age where i'm suppose to have fun. sighhs. what can i say.. anyway, i nearly got into an accident on my way home. as my dad was turning out of BBDC, he didn't see a bus coming. but anyways, my dad and the bus driver jam brake and nothing was hit. BUT! the bus driver bu shuang my father. so he just stopped there and stared at my dad. so initially, i tot my dad was too close to his bus (but actually they were a distance apart.) so he reversed a little. BUT! the bus driver opened the door and started showing "hand signals" to my dad. scolding my dad with something like "U BLIND ARH! CANNOT SEE ISSIT!" [at that point, headings like "bus driver got into fight with civilian outside BBDC" flashes in my mind] so obviously it created a commotion and the bus driver finally went on and we were still stuck trying to turn out. BUT! after my dad turn out, he drove at a very high speed. i thought he's just venting his anger. as we have to turn into the filter lane, i tried desperately to ask him to slow down. BUT! instead, he stopped the car, wind down the window, honked several times at the bus (which was then waiting at the traffic light) and started scolding all sorts of vulgar. [at this point, the news heading would be "fatal accident due to drivers' rage" appeared.] i think if both the bus and my dad were going in the same direction, they most likely will bang each other. i shall seriously thank god i'm still alive. ** let's see :] as usual, me and sherr nv ever meet at our allocated time but oh wells, we were suppose to just have fun. so, we had breakfast and headed off to the arcade to play the very addicted but lame game. this time round, we onli spent 32.50 before we hit the jackpot. and becos we requested for the green froglike soft toy, they gave us another yellow one cos the soft toy is small. but when we are playing, the crew added another winnie the pooh clock to our jackpot. so we got three things when we hit jackpot. after that, we continued playing and onli after 25 bucks, we were so lucky to hit jackpot:] so we got the stitch! and becos sherr wanted a pair of the frog like soft toy, we changed one kg of our sweets for it! we actually got a total of 1.8kg of sweets :] they should have implemented this "changing sweets for prize" earlier. cos when lu and i played, we definitely hit one kg of sweets and now, we're stuck with it. anyway, after that, we walked from plaza sing to bugis, stopping for famous, cheap and nice soya bean milk and pineappletarts :] we found this place called "food for thoughts" which was recommended in seventeen. they said to try the nutella cupcake but honestly speaking, it aint that great. but i really liked the ambiance. it reminded me to usa and america! i hoped i have helped sherr with her problems. i really feel bad cos i cant really do much for her other than lend a listening ear and just give her pointers from an outsider view. but i know she's under alot of stress and needs to vent more often. but i failed to allow her to do that. sorry sherr!  our loot!  i finally bought my lollipop accessory!  "food for thoughts" napkins. this place is somewhere hidden at bugis. it's a small shop so not very ideal for big gatherings. however, it has a very quaint western environment. downside is that its kitchen will close at certain timings so u are unable to purchase any savory food.  banana choco malteaser cake. quite light:] not a bad snack.  nutella cupcake. the reason why we went hunting for this place.  me:] aiyo! so fat! but who cares!  peach crumble with vanilla ice cream. the crumble is delicious! but! they should have more of the crumble. |
