Tuesday, March 11, 2008 **edited! just had a rather demoralising practical lesson. firstly, i had a tougher subject today and it was raining, at night nonetheless. so ended up, i was onli able to pass one stage. sigghs.. anyway, lu and i have decided to call my very first instructor shuaige! grinne:] well, i think he's really good so oh wells, i will always pray to get him. sadly, lulu got him today. hahaha.. somehow, when he's my instructor for the day, i tend to relax more and drive better. so unlike today, dint manage to lane change for the right turn. on the bright side, it was cos it's super heavy traffic, on the down side, the instructor said i would fail immd for that. -_-"' but there was this part in the lesson that's very funny. the instructor spoke to me in chinese, then he used the terms in chinese too. so he told me when i turn, i would be "mang dian". so i thought, when i turn, i would be busier. (i was thinking "sure, of course i would be busier. i will be rapidly turning the wheel.") so when i was turning, he kept saying "mang dian! mang dian!" then i thought i wasn't turning enough and some more, i was doing a right turn, which is something i'm not familiar with. then after i finish turning, then i realised that what he meant by "mang dian" is BLIND SPOT!! anyway, clara bought me a baby chipmunk! i was actually eyeing that but she dint know! anyway, really special thanks to her and lulu for making the effort to make me smile :] thanks girls! **  so cute!  SO CUTE!! SO SMALL!! :] |
