Wednesday, June 06, 2007 it kinda just hit me that i'm going to be 18 yrs old this yr. its not fair that this special yr will be spent so fast. i always admire ppl who accomplish many things before a specific age. perhaps i should give that some thought. but for now, i'm happy with what i've achieved. 1. i've been to an exchange programme to taiwan, 2. done 2 overseas cip proj, one out in the wildness(cambodia), one out in the cold(yunnan). 3. i've been to usa and went to disney land. :] 4. i've tried ski-ing, 5. i've tried campaigning 6. i've got into council, 7. i've been president of a club and vice-president of council, 8. i've done camps before, 9. i've rebelled strongly against my form tcher before, brought the case all the way up to the vice principal. 10. i've met and dialogued with the PM, 11. i've been in supreme court, 12. i've gone out to meet strangers to discuss potential plans for school, 13. i've stayed in the NUS hostel before, 14. selected to go Creative Arts Programme organised by the gifted branch, 15. went to Pre-U seminar 16. had friends stayed over before 17. had my first love 18. had my heart broken 19. got close and personal with nature(australia) 20. worked in a lab 21. wonderful birthday parties 22. survived pulau ubin(my worst nightmare) 23. drove(i dunno the right term) a boat 24. stayed in a backpacker's inn 25. stayed at a kelong 26. fished. 27. shitted right thru a hole in a plank right into the sea. 28. kayaked 29. went to the filming of tv show(under one roof). 30. went to a concert at the esplanade 31. had dinner at the highest restaurant well, in 18 yrs, i got these experience, i wont complain, altho i wished i had more. let's see 1. be walked home by a guy other than my best guy friend. 2. travel overseas alone, not even with school. 3. go out on a real date. 4. movie marathon with my good friends thru the night 5. me sleeping over at someone else's house other than my cousin 6. driving 7. get the license for driving a boat 8. get first aid license 9. have someone specially sing/dedicate a song to me 10. revamp entire wardrobe. 11. walk along the beach at sunset, having a lovely conversation. okay, that's all i can think of for now. but it seems real fun! let's see how many of these can i achieve this yr! grinne:] |
