Wednesday, March 28, 2007 i'm back to my randomness:] i shall talk bout condoms. today, as i queued up in line to purchase some snacks in 7-up, i started staring at the condoms section near the counter. somehow, i started wondering if any singaporeans ever buy them? i think i either live in the 60s or something but somehow, i keep thinking that singaporeans do not have casual sex, and that this happens alot in usa. then i thought about economics and link it to condoms. if not many singaporeans buy condoms, isn't the market something very bad? so why are they still selling so many packets? and there's many different varieties too. with some corny titles like "pleasurable", "extreme comfort" and something of these sort. dun mind me for not being educated in this area[i dun see why i should be] but aren't condoms suppose to be just a rubber tubing of some sort to prevent the sperms from getting through? so why are there so many varieties??anyway, back to earth. i was thinking that hardly anyone buys them, well perhaps that's why 7-11 is 24h. so that ppl who wants to use them but are too shy can purchase them in the wee hours. as i look around the queue, everyone was just buying normal stuff. it was then that i decided to blog bout condoms and how i nv witness anyone buying it before. and at that point, the guy in front of me reach out and took a BIG pack of condoms and hand it over to the cashier for payment. gosh, my grinne was enormous. i finally witness someone buying condoms. so it is true that ppl DO actually buy condoms in singapore. haha.. aint this interesting. dun worry, this is the extent of my interest. i have absolutely no interest with what goes on after the condom is being bought. :] thanks pearls for ur encouragement. the thing is, i think i can do it too if i manage to study. but so very often, i'm not that discipline enough to start studying instead of going back to sleep. emma, u have no idea how much i LOVE that lime shower gel!! it keeps me relaxed and is just another piece of my paradise. kristy, seems like we just have to set up dates then!! |
