Tuesday, April 29, 2008 what a JERK!! i just saw this man scolding this woman in the middle of the road. and they dun look like teenagers at all. in fact. they look mid thirties. and the guy kept scolding the woman (who was carrying loads of stuff) and she was like crying hysterically then. how CRUEL! i'm disgusted. these kind of stuff, pls keep it at home or a private place man. no matter how angry u are at each other, it doesn't justify to embarrass each other like that. i have tons of things to blog about. but yet, i have no mood to blog nowadays. too much things on my mind. hopefully, with the driving gone next wk, i would be able to think clearer. sighhs.. i seriously think i might fail. and to add to the depression mood, i will have to turn down uni of western australia's offer cos the deadline's up. sighhs. Sunday, April 20, 2008 ONCE again, i'm so sorry for not updating in the week and leaving everything to the sunday. well, i was busy. busy being a manual labour working at work. grinne, and that's why i was so tired. ahaha.. anyway, i will let the picture say bout my week.  delicious accessories!  this bag is so nice!! but the price is even nice! nearly 200bucks. sighhs. LAST WEEK.  the council outing at sentosa!  and the dinner after at breeks. on monday, we surprised emma at seoul garden! have to thank her daddy for planning this surprise for her and bringing her up and down orchard before leading her into seoul garden. grinne:]  surprise!  happy birthday girl!  birthday girls. :]  'full!  final picture! saturday! council girls's monthly outing :] we almost got everyone this time round. hope that it'll be all the girls one day!  after lunch outside swensens. end of our usual 'part 1' of girls' outing.  the picture with the most council girls that we can get together at one time. :]  cam whoring :]  outside coffeebean! then we met some of the council guys and went to HOOKED! for dinner. well, i like the idea of having a new place to eat for a change :]  zr's ermm.. artistic side.  me and auntie!! :]  cam whoring again!  the girls!  the guys. :]  after dinner at hooked! :] well, this week ended with a nice movie "the prestige" at sherman's house with celeste and zr. and i finally got to see how his house looked liked :] and i must say, i'm jealous of his bedroom wall. it's so nice! but, that's what u get when one of ur bestfriends is an artist right? grinne. i'm off to pack my table!! :] last note: i'm FINALLY eligible to go take my practical test! but i'm scared to death about it. and i finally bought my green gatsby gel! Saturday, April 12, 2008 i finally WASHED THE TOILET! i'm SO proud of it :] my parents was just simply making it dirtier and dirtier by the day and trying to test my tolerance of it man. i cant stand it anymore!!! ahhaha :] so i washed it! after which, i opened my mini sold out concert! ASHLEY, the TOILET CLEANER presents S.H.E's hao xing qing! grinne. what a name. nah, i'll just stick with ASHLEY, the RUNAWAY PIG! :] Anyway, i finally have time to blog about my entire week! let's start from MONDAY which was ra's bday! i have planned a little surprise for her at work with the help of her comm members and her boss! hahaha :] des and cc hide in the store room(which was next to her table) but they placed a bday cake on her table. after receiving it, she was very scared to open the door. HAHAH! anyway, happy bday girl! hope u had fun!  presents presents presents :]  happy bday! After that, i took half day and rushed to the aid of the distressed damsel. we talked in fish & co for 4 hours. can u imagine? the lunch crowd came and go. when we are leaving, the dinner crowd was settling in. hahaha. anyway, after both of us finish downloading our stuff, i felt so much better. as tho xian has taken half my load and carried it for me. anyw, after we're both okay, we went science centre! so excited! it's been SO long since i last been there. and it's the viruses exhibition somemore!  TADA!! VIRUSES~  gggrrr... BUT! this was what we saw.  what a shame. so we just went ahead with the outdoor exhibition.  AAAHHHHH!!!!!  i am STRONG! that thing is 200kg!  nice phrase :] TUESDAY! well, i took time off and went home early. and of course, the admin comm had their dinner that day and they dint invite me. wth! but i believe amanda accidentally forgotten. cos she did actually msg me the previous week. but she just dint confirm with me. anyway, it aint the first time these things happen. ppl just tend to leave me outta stuff. whatever. but that's just how u know the level of friendship with those ppl are. WEDNESDAY IS EXCITING!!!!! cos i FINALLY crack the mystery whether she is a HE or a SHE. and the final answer is, she is a HE!!! grinne! omgomgomgomgomgomgomg! i'm elated man! hahaha :] cos i solved the mystery. took me three months of find out! but cut me some slack man, i solve all these by onli gathering clues and not asking anyone. but i must thank him for letting me saw him entering the male toilet in the first place. otherwise, i wont even bother. hahaha :] wanted to blog that day but i talked on the phone till 1 in the morning :] Thursday is BORING. time CRAWLED past man. ended up, i gave up working and chatted with my colleague for half hour before she left. then i did some self entertainment after that. haha :] wanted to blog again, but i once again, talked on the phone. and he once again avoided the topic and pushed all the blame on me. Friday was S&S. Scared. cos i got a super weird and freaky teacher for driving. he made me SO nervous! ended up, my palms sweat and he still ask "u got sweaty palms arh miss?" but dint dare to mention that it was cos i was nervous. so i just said "sometimes." 23 more days to my test! Sad i received my mail from monash. hence meaning it's official that i got the offer. and i receive my mail from UQ too. cos i changed my degree and still got the offer. but these mails just made me so sad and stressed once again. if this thing is not solved soon, i'll soon be a big fat balloon. SATURDAY! it's gonna be fun. first sign, i finally got mika's 'lollipop' song! and for the rest of the day, i'm gonna pack and clean my room!! :] and at night, i'll deal with the more serious business. :] GRINNE! alrights! if u read all the way here, i gotta apologise for SUCH a long post. but oh wells, just leave me a tag anyway! :] Sunday, April 06, 2008 listen to this song. listen to her voice. esp during the chorus. it's rather beautiful and keep in mind. she's only 6 yrs old. Saturday, April 05, 2008 it has been a long time since i saw a sky like that.  FINALLY managed to close my accounts by yesterday! grinne :] well, that is of course with the help of much ot :] rara and i ot till 12am on ot as it's a very normal thing for us to work till so late but everyone made such a big deal out of it. anyways, we would have continued on if not for a stupid moth that was flying around in my cubicle!! it was actually flying towards me at one point, but i bat it away. grinne :]  my messy table. i dint even spare the bottom of the desk!  rara, hard at work. okay, it's very obvious it's a posed picture, but just the smile was posed. the rest of her body are really at work. some random stuff at work. 1. clara is at war with one of the colleague. the colleague will stack boxes towards clara's side and clara stacks files towards the colleague's side. they just dun want to see each other.  this is the view from the table beside that colleague's desk. 2. i finally realise the significance of qualifications. as A levels holders, we are actually getting a higher pay than some(well, i know one for sure) of the permanent staff there. but as the staff holds no qualification, the lower pay is justified. but obviously there's some unhappiness in the air. but this is singapore. where it's a dog eat dog world. as long as u have that cert, u will get that pay too. but my heart goes to her. she has a family and a kid to raise. sighhs. but what can i do? 3. have u tried being in an office where one side is trying to be thrifty whereas the other side dun give any business to the things they was wasting? enough of all these office stuff. i got an offer from MONASH UNI!! and it's that ultimate course that i wanted!!!! DOUBLE DEGREE IN BANKING & FINANCE/ACCOUNTING. oh man!!! this is SO COOL!. ULTIMATE COOLNESS!! ;] i was so happy until rara suddenly brought me back to the real world by saying "ur dad will allow meh?" sighs.. anyways, i had SUCH a fabulous dream bout him that day!! to tell the truth, i'm rather surprise that i dreamt of him. it's been a long time coming.. grinne :] i shall be off to read my shopaholics! :] my eyelids keep twitching!!! Tuesday, April 01, 2008 i shouldn't have grown so attached to my job. this month, i was finally given more task to handle. altho busy, but i finally got a feel of my council life again. deadlines to meet, impt task to rmb. pending issues to cfm, etc etc. but more imptly, i was the sole handler for tangs vivocity. i was the in charge! i have a define system as to how i do my audit. i was just getting comfortable with the staff over there. and when the month ends, the satisfaction of knowing u did the whole month by urself is beyond words.. but now, they are taking vivocity away from me and handing it to the cash office. and one of the three permanent stuff would be in charged to go down everyday to teach them how to do it. so i'll take over that person's job for the month. so i will be doing orchard. even tho the number of days is 3 times lesser, but the amount of sales per day is more than doubled. how can i get any satisfaction from this? and furthermore, the staff actually only goes to vivocity in the afternoon (and even get to go off at 5), so while they are in the office in the morning, i wonder what they will be doing. slacking i suppose. and meanwhile, they are getting a raise for doing less work for this three months while i'm not. now, i have to hone another system for orchard. oh, and u know what's the worst thing about this incident? the boss dint tell me about me. they had a meeting several times regarding this, and yet they still have yet to inform me about it. it was cos my colleague needed to complain to someone, then that's when i know of it. what a nice system they have. i have flashnews for them. even tho we're just temps, but we're still doing ur job. so if it involves us, tell us! DUH! |
