Thursday, February 28, 2008 i PASSED my final theory test~!!!!!!! whoots! now, i just have to concentrate on my driving :];] my test date is currently on the 5th of may. grinne:] this is exciting!! i have got one and a half months to complete learning driving! whootS! anyway, they offered to keep me on in this job as a part-timer when i enter uni :] how nice! but of course, it'll depends on whether i have to go overseas or not. sighhs.. will the results be out sooner so i can decide on all thiS?? gtg for now! have to rush to work! Tuesday, February 26, 2008 sigghs... it's onli 720 and i'm already in the office. why? u may ask. just cos i forgot to off this bloody computer yesterday. and when i rmbed about it, i had already activated the damn alarm. and when i attempted to deactivate the alarm, something seemed to be wrong, and that's why i dint dare to go in. so, the next best thing is to arrive at work super early, before my bosses and off the computer and find out if i had indeed activate or deactivated the alarm. and u know what's the most sickening thing? when i deactivate the alarm just now, i was very scared that i dint actually really deactivate it, so i dint dare to walk in and scan my time card and stayed at the pantry area. after a few mins, when i came in, the clock showed 7.17am. DAMN! just cos of my paranoidness, i lost 0.25h of my pay. -_-"' what a day. and of all days, it had to rain today. the day i have to walk to the mrt station and take a bus myself. argh!! so now, i shall off this bloody comp. Sunday, February 24, 2008 these few weeks, i have not exactly sat down to really blog properly about stuff. i guess my life's rather boring for now. anyway, since i'm down with diarrhorea today, i've finally had time to sit in front of the laptop and just aimlessly surf net. :] i had time to watch "pirates of the carribean, at world's end" and "rise of the silver surfer" today. i must say, i am really annoyed with the guts of elizabeth's in pirates. she's such a wimp! and cos she's the onli female pirate, she really becomes a disgrace to females. oh wells. "no reservations" is nice :] yesterday was one of ntu's many open house. to my huge disappointment, i gained nothing much other than four post it pads. what's the point of having a open house when all u say is "please go to our website to find out more" oh wells, left there early and head off to shopping for dramas:] bought "sassy girl" for 10 bucks. the male lead from yuhee the witch is in it and he looks SO MUCH CUTER in that show! hair really plays a big part in ur looks i guess. oh! did i mention? i like my job alot! besides having staff discount at tangs and working with a nice bunch of ppl, we get to help out during their sales! i went down to C.K. Tangs on wed to help with the lunch crowd! altho all i did was just to put the purchases into bags, but its real cool to see what do ppl buy. of course, i cant help but be jealous when a lady hands me four kipling bags at one go and when a man bought over 500 bucks of "benefit" makeup for his lady. and while a job, i got to see many many handbags of which i bought two small pouches that i saw a woman buy right after my shift! hahaa :] imagine, we can shop and indulge ourselves in ice cream for nearly an hour before going back to our main office. isn't my job fun? i forgot to mention the best part of helping out. i was helping out a cute guy cashier named jeremy! pity he's from china, so he has a little language barrier with the customers. but he was so nice and sweet! he helped me pull out all the tags cos it is actually rather hard and painful to do that! hahaha :] somehow, the "jeremy"s i know are usually rather charismatic, with some exceptions of course. hahaha. :] i may go help out during their next sales again! :] alrightys! my final theory test is in three days' time! i must go study for it now cos i cant afford to fail it! wish me luck! :] Friday, February 22, 2008 WOAH! hahaha :] had my second practical today. dunno why, but i was super nervous before this lesson. anyway, my instructor drives like crazy. he accelerates suddenly and onli jam brake at the last minute. sitting in his car, u literary have to HANG ON to ur seat as u will sway from side to side. but thank god, he onli drove to the place where we change seats. hehex :] anyway, just went around in the circuit trying to perfect the turnings and to ensure i stay in the middle of the road. and then, he made me turn here and there, and the funny thing was that i was waiting for instruction from him and he was actually waiting for me to use my own judgement. he should have said so earlier. he brought me to the road today! i didn't felt the stress until he made me accelerate much more. it was then that i realise that it wont be as easy anymore. i met with this stupid car who was actually stationary, and when i'm about to cut into his lane, he accelerated. how WONDERFUL. hahaha :] anyway, halfway thru, i was able to stay in the middle of the road using my judgement instead of the guide and able to turn more smoothly :] and the instructor complimented that i did well for my first attempt on the road! :]:] but when we return to the circuit and we changed over, that's when my nightmare started. once again, he drove like a F1 racer in that tiny stretch of road. when the lesson is over, i actually got out of the car with wobbly legs. i wonder if it's from my trip to the road or his driving. i have a complain. i met an OBNOXIOUS PREGNANT WOMAN on the train today. geex, when i let the seat to her, she dint even bother saying thank you or have the face that state "gratefulness" in her. does she think it's EXPECTED of me to do that? it's NOT my fault that she's knocked up in the first place. geex! i pity the baby, thru out the entire journey, a frown nv left her face, even when she's slping. and this other stupid SHORT woman who stood so close to me that she stupid SMELLY MAGGIE MEE hair was in my face. what a day. on the bright side, i had the entire office to myself while doing ot. :] Sunday, February 17, 2008 10 funny flirting facts By Laura Schaefer 1. Thursday, February 14, 2008 WHO WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE A CAPSULE EARRING OUT OF A REAL CAPSULE!! sighhs.. first day i wore it and after showering, its GONE!!! how sad! :( its time to update but i've been busy doing nothing recently. i'm currently on a mission to find a life! my life right now is SUPER boring. oh wells, at least i'm finally getting to do all the "resting" i wanted to do in the past. but i want more activities! hahaha:] let's see, after shopping at queensway yesterday, i've finally decided to save up for an ascis shoe. so, i shall forgo many lunches to save up! that's plan no. 1. and then, i shall start sleeping early so that i can start exercising in the morning. that's plan no. 2. oh, and today, i finally had my first practical lesson! it's AWESOME! :] thank god i had a friendly instructor for my first day :] he was even eating biscuit while i was driving. boohoo, dint offer me one. plan no. 3, i have to find airplane tickets and hotel accomodation in bangkok! i'm crossing my fingers that i can really go this time! well, some stuff bout the office now. firstly, i wanna complain. i seriously cant stand a certain person in my office who likes to TALK LOUDLY on the phone. and all her calls are personal. if its business call, i dun even care. but hello, she practically announces to the whole office that when she went kickboxing, she dint see her friend. or that she is going to celebrate her brother's bday tonight, and have yet to transfer some money in. blah blah blah. seriously cant stand her. dunno why. and she actually wore a tube dress to work even tho the office ethnics says no spag strap or less. and she doesn't really have the figure actually. and the dress she wore is so clingy that i can see her g-string. the image is SERIOUSLY damaging my brain cells. oh wells. if we have four female toilets and one male toilet. and, if u saw a woman coming out of a male toilet(which is RIGHT BESIDE an EMPTY female toilet), what would u think of that woman? hmmms.. that's all for now:] time to sleep! past my bedtime long ago!! night night! Friday, February 01, 2008 woah! finally came to blog, since i have to check something. have been doing ot these past three days till late. today was the latest at 1030. i wouldn't have left if the way out wasn't that ulu. i still got a thousand things to do! and i have to complete them tml otherwise, i cant go and meet the girls! pity i'm busy on sat or sun, otherwise, i could just go back and do ot. =_=. so tired, cant blog properly. anyway, finally got my first pay check. have to admit, it was seriously MUCH less than what i initially calculated. sighhs.. nvm, its just an experience for me. :] as long as the input of money is more than the output, i'm fine with it :] ohhh:] i actually dreamt of him yesterday. seems like i missed him alot. i was doing ot and he came and visit me!! :] tho i'm not very sure why i dreamt of him wearin his sec school uni. hahaha.. that's all. gonna zzzz.. |
