Saturday, March 15, 2008 i finally can clear all the australia uni info away from my table :] i applied for monash uni, uni of queensland (UQ), and uni of western aust (UWA) today :] let's see if they're nice enough to accept me. so now, i shall cross my fingers for 4 to 5 weeks:] sighhs. i'm super tired of this life man. he actually agreed to this overseas education but yet, he's always giving me shit about it. every single thing i do, he'll relate it to me not being capable to handle overseas. how can asking my mom for my o level cert (which she keeps in her locked up drawer) equals to me not being independent? i'm not independent cos i dun want to break open my mom's steel cupboard? my poor mommy had to bear with my foul mood for the entire day. it got better in the afternoon tho. i found out that my cousin specially called back from uk during cny to ask his parents to specially talk to my dad about this overseas thing. i am so touched! he really cared so much:] thanks jieqi gor! it actually almost worked. BUT! i also found out that my other uncle and aunt keep telling my dad about how kids should just get any tom dick or harry degree in singapore. so now, when i get my results, they would eagerly call and msg my mom to find out my grades. then they once again will preach about how kids can just get ANY degree in singapore. this is rubbish lor! i'm not one who wants to study something TOTALLY unrelated to what i wanna do. it's a waste of my precious lifetime. just like this shit he makes me go thru now. i'm seriously very tired of listening and arguing about the same thing over and over again. it's just a damn uni application and yet, he have to make it into such a bad experience?! anyway, yesterday was fun! it was quite long since i saw the council girls. especially michelle wong. grinne:] once again, we took the last train home after hours of gossiping at starbucks :] and we managed to finalise on a date for the council bbq! 24th may! yay! so, we just have to wait to book the pit now before we can truly finalise the event! yay! and this time round, hopefully most of the council can turn up :] anyway, i think ms lim really got a fright last night. grinne:] when pr pointed to ms lim (who was walking past), we all turned and screamed out to her. hahaha.. she got a fright and was hiding in the corner. oh wells, that's what u get from us :]  what does this look like?
